Title:  Housekeeping Manager (Overnight Shift)

JOB SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Creates and ensures a fun-filled, entertaining and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of

service excellence is paramount.

• Serves as a leader for employees while fostering teamwork, employee morale, motivation and open communication. 
• Acts as a role model and coaches while developing employees using a consistent, approachable demeanor and clearly articulating expectations.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities required
• Develop and maintain cleaning programs for designated groups to ensure clean and attractive public environment. 
• Manages staffing, including hiring candidates.
• Documents and issues discipline.
• Supervises the scheduling, training and evaluation of all Environmental Services personnel.
• Establishing standards and procedures for ensuring a clean and attractive facility.
• Requisition supplies and equipment within established budgetary guidelines.
• Experienced with OSHA guidelines, including Right-To-Know Act, and Blood-Borne Pathogens.
• Promotes honesty and trust amongst the team.
• Promotes outstanding customer relations.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Three (3) years experience in a professional office management cleaning environment and/ or cleaning of large public areas facility.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel and Word.
• Ability to read, write, speak, understand or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position.
• Must be able to obtain and keep a License issued by the Maryland State Lottery Agency required of all Gaming establishment employees.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.  College or Trade School Preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which includes days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
