JOB SUMMARY
If you are looking to start a career in the Maintenance field, this is the position for you! Exciting opportunity to work at Ocean Downs Casino only 10 minutes from the beautiful beaches and boardwalk of Ocean City, MD! This is a full time, year around position with an excellent compensation package. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for maintenance and repair of all facility mechanical systems in a timely manner, with minimal supervision.
- Will follow all safety procedures and regulations, and will ensure compliance with all federal, state and local laws and OSHA regulations.
- Promotes outstanding customer relations.
- Promotes honesty and trust amongst the team.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Minimum of Three (3) years in mechanical environment.
- Must have experience operating maintenance vehicles.
- Must be proficient in HVAC, carpentry, electrical and plumbing maintenance. HVAC Certification preferred.
- Must have a valid driver’s license; CDL Certification preferred. Must meet the requirements of company Motor Vehicle Record Policy.
- Ability to read, write, speak, understand or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position.
- Ability to consistently comprehend, retain and execute written, verbal and demonstrated directions, explanations and guidance.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers and management.
- Must be able to obtain and keep Licenses issued by the Maryland Racing Commission and the Maryland State Lottery Agency required of all Gaming Establishment employees.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or Equivalent. Trade school or Associates Degree preferred. |
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS
- Must be able to lift Fifty (50) pounds and work in all weather, including extreme conditions.
- Must be able and willing to climb ladders and scaffolding.
- Must be able to walk, sit, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time without difficulty.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which includes days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
