JOB SUMMARY

Exciting opportunity to work at Ocean Downs Casino only 10 minutes from the beautiful beaches and boardwalk of Ocean City, MD! ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Creates and ensures a fun-filled, entertaining and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount.
• Reviews and evaluates patron profiles to determine appropriate customer needs on a daily basis.
• Assists with promotional and event activities, both on and off premises.
• Corresponding with patrons both verbally and electronically.
• Responsible for maintaining the ongoing customer loyalty marketing on a daily basis.
• Responsible for generating a positive and friendly atmosphere with all guests by assisting patrons when called upon and generally creating an ongoing host and player relationship.
• Handles patron issues, complaints and reports all incidents Marketing Manager or Director of Marketing.
• Promotes outstanding customer relations.
• Promotes honesty and trust amongst the team.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• One (1) to Three (3) years in Marketing and / or Public Relations preferred.
• Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to read, write, speak, understand or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position.
• Ability to consistently comprehend, retain and execute written, verbal and demonstrated directions, explanations and guidance.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers and management.
• Must be able to obtain and keep a License issued by the Maryland State Lottery Agency required of all Gaming establishment employees.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS

• Must be able to sit, walk or stand for extended periods of time without difficulty.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which includes days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
