JOB SUMMARY

Exciting opportunity to work at Ocean Downs Casino only 10 minutes from the beautiful beaches and boardwalk of Ocean City, MD! Have fun in the sun while pursuing an exciting career in the casino industry. Work with an awesome team while ensuring a good time for our guests.  This is a full time, year around position with an excellent compensation package. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creates and ensures a fun-filled, entertaining and exciting environment where the flawless delivery and execution of service excellence is paramount.
  • Serves as a leader for employees while fostering teamwork, employee morale, motivation and open communication. 
  • Acts as a role model and coaches while developing employees using a consistent, approachable demeanor and clearly articulating expectations. 
  • Conducts interviews with employee candidates.
  • Recommends, documents and issues discipline
  • Prepares draft cashier and banker schedules in accordance with the CBA.
  • Responsible for supervision, evaluations and training of staff.
  • Responsible for compliance with State Lottery Regulations, Internal Controls and all company Policies & Procedures.
  • Responsible for the safeguarding of currency, coins, tickets, tokens, forms and records relating to Cage Operations.
  • Responsible for tracking inventory of coin, currency and tickets.
  • Responsible for granting, suspending and denying credit to clientele.
  • Monitors all credit play and reviews player rating to ensure legitimate credit play.
  • Responsible for custody of cage inventory to include main bank, reserve bank, employee window and front window. 
  • Responsible for supervision of all cashiering activities and preparation of reports for assigned personnel.
  • Promotes outstanding customer relations.
  • Promotes honesty and trust amongst the team.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time without difficulty.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which includes days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
